The biggest change this year was switching the banquet location from Dave & Buster's to the host hotel. D & B is a great place, but they discourage bringing kids, and the logistics of using the hotel shuttle to get there didn't work as well as I had hoped. Initially I decided to simply have dinner and not provide any further entertainment (hence the lower price of the banquet tickets), but the more I thought about it the more I wanted to do something special.
