Unfortunately, just like last year, the week leading up to the show was wet - even more so. Threatening skies and flash flood warnings greeted St. Louis Friday, but, as in 2001, the skies cleared, and we enjoyed rainless if cool weather Saturday. Whatever the reasons (flooding, late registration, planet alignment) attendance was down slightly from the first incarnation. Regardless, I had a much better time. While practice doesn't necessarily make perfect it certainly helps, and the preparations were easier because of it. In addition I was able to reuse the registration and show software with very little modification. Clever use of hotel tables
