I finally began rebuilding in 1998. Here are pictures of the car at the beginning of the process. I had to replace the floors, trunk floors,fabricate new inner rockers, rear quarters and tail panel. While I was at it I reskinned the doors. Lots and lots of welding. I took the body shell and sandblasted it clean. In addition to the body work the following modifications were added: 1. Front drum to disk conversion 2. Herb Adams front and rear sway bars 3. Urethane bushings 4. Close ratio steering box 5. Competition Engineering subframe connectors 6. All stainless or Grade 8 hardware and lines 7. Completely rebuilt front and rear suspensions 8. Trunk mounted battery
