Well, I started making some $$$ and decided the need for speed was too strong, and the 160HP T/A was not fitting the bill, so I was drawn to the Blue Oval for awhile. The 86 GT I bought new and dumped a ton of money into stereo and cosmetic stuff, drivetrain was left stock. Then 2 years later, I bought the 88 Ragtop new, and proceded to dump more money then I care to mention into this one. But at least this time it went under the hood also.
