Here is an update from 2001: Took the car in May to St. Louis to the first annual Classical Pontiac Meet. Met a lot of nice people. And we proudly received the Webmaster's Choice award from Rich. Summer brought the Nationals in Red Wing, Mn, in July. It was soooooooooo hot. The car finally took a gold in concours, which finally made all the work and $$$$ seem worth it. On to the GTO show in Woodward, Michigan in August put on by the Woodward Tigers. Got a first in our class!! At the Indian Uprising in Oakbrook IL, we received two awards.... one of the top ten Pontiacs out of 187 at the show, and best interior. What a feeling!! Off to the World Of Wheels in Chicago first weekend of February 2002, not to win any awards but to be one of over 30 GTOs to be featured this year at that show. World of Wheels Update: There were 36 GTOs and all 11 years of stockers next to each other. When was the last time you saw that?! If you want to see pix of all eleven years, email me. My car took a first in clase on Saturday, and on Sunday the first place cars were rejudged and I took Outstanding Antique Restored in all 17 Divisions. Who took first? A beautiful restored 1969 Firebird, restored with all Nos parts. We will see what the rest of 2002 brings.......maybe a trip to the strip...?? Thanks for viewing my member site.
